    The brackets, arches or metal strips of orthodontic appliances protrude from the teeth and can cause friction injuries with the tongue or the inside of the cheeks.

    Orthodontic wax vitis is applied to the different elements of orthodontic appliances forming a thin protective layer that prevents abrasion or irritation caused by friction.
